Resilient Urban Neighborhoods + Green Justice Coalition (RUN-GJC)

RUN-GJC is a partnership between Resilient Urban Neighborhoods and the Green Justice Coalition. Together, this team of technical and environmental justice experts and advocates are tackling energy democracy with community-owned microgrid projects. The idea is that if microgrids are implemented with community partners and a community-led vision, they can be a part of the solution to address climate justice and resilience in low-income communities of color.  Since 2016, the team has been working together to explore how distributed microgrids, powered by clean energy, can be an asset for residents. The effort is supported by Community Labor United (CLU). For more information on RUN-GJC’s work, please contact: lee@massclu.org
